If you do not yet already have the GNU readline library installed
(libreadline.a), please install the >=2.0 version. You can find it
in this FTP site at /pub/gnu/*readline*.

On AIX 2.3, using older versions may create some problems.

The file readline-related.tar.gz is thus obsolete and will soon
be removed   -PJ 2.11.1994.
