To define a station list yourself, type in the text box 3-letter codes separated by a blanko, e.g. NUR HAN OUJ. Abbreviations are listed in a table of the IMAGE stations.
-
Station are automatically ordered from north (up) to south (down). However, if you type your own list then the first site is plotted up and the last down.
-
Fennoscandia = all available stations in the continental part of IMAGE.
-
Svalbard = BJN, HOP, HOR, LYR, NAL (since October 1993).
-
TAR-SOR = meridional chain TAR-NUR-HAN-OUJ-PEL-MUO-MAS-SOR (TAR since September 2001).
-
TAR-NAL = meridional chain TAR-NUR-HAN-OUJ-PEL-MUO-MAS-SOR-BJN-HOR-LYR-NAL.
-
To get the EISCAT magnetometer sites (until summer 1991), select all.
-
Geographical components are used: X (north), Y (east), Z (downwards).
-
One minute average values are used.
-
Data availability charts are updated manually. So newer data may be available than shown on them.
-
The default scaling is not always convenient. Change it by typing a new value (>0) in the corresponding box.
