| The team of ionospheric
research belongs to the group of Space Research in the Space Research
Division of FMI ). We study the solar wind - magnetosphere - ionosphere
coupling from the basis of ground-based observations and satellite data.
By observing different auroral phenomena in various spatial scales we
aim to make new findings in both ionospheric and magnetospheric physics.
We also develop various data analysis techniques and test their reliability.
Our team has close collaboration with the other teams of Space Research
like magnetospheric, space weather, and geomagnetism research. The group
of technical resources helps us in the maintenance of the instrumentation
making ionospheric observations. Team members are: |
