SG[NORDIC-BALTIC] 2026 – Young space professionals event in FMI, Helsinki

SG[NORDIC-BALTIC] 2026 brings together young space professionals and students on January 19 at Dynamicum. Hosted by the Finnish Meteorological Institute, this event is not just a conference, it is a meeting point where new ideas, partnerships, and innovations are born.

The space sector is growing rapidly, and Nordic and Baltic countries are increasingly involved in this development. SG[NORDIC-BALTIC] 2026 offers young professionals and students the opportunity to join discussions that shape and influence Northern Europe’s space strategy. The event is aimed at space enthusiasts aged 18–35 who want to network, learn, and make an impact.

Inspiration and Hands-On Activities

The day’s program is designed to combine keynote speeches, panel discussions, and practical hackathons into one comprehensive experience. Participants will tackle real challenges related to space technology and data utilization. Coffee breaks and the networking dinner provide valuable moments for informal conversations – often where the best ideas emerge.

In Collaboration with Winter Satellite Workshop

The event is organized alongside the Winter Satellite Workshop 2026, held in Otaniemi from January 20–24, the largest space event in the Nordics and Baltics. This gives SG[NORDIC-BALTIC] 2026 participants a chance to see the bigger picture of what is happening in Northern Europe and how different actors collaborate.
