Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) space and remote sensing research related websites have been updated. Site has a completely new layout and the content has been categorized according to the current FMI organizational structure.
Website content has been divided in six (6) main themes:
– Arctic Space Centre
– Cryosphere
– Greenhouse Gases and Atmosphere
– Planetary Research and Space Technology
– Weather Nowcasting and Intelligent Traffic
– Space Weather
Under each main theme there are set of links to FMI data services, project websites and other related mission websites. The website is still under development and new content will be added in next few months. Old space.fmi.fi content is available by using the old links (e.g. IMAGE and MIRACLE services), so if website users have bookmarked the old data service websites, there is no need to update them again.
